Pints & Britpop will ensure a fun night in the cafe
Back by popular demand...
For one night a year Het Kasteel becomes `The Castle`. Presented by your hostess,
Shazz, and the grumpiest English-speaking bar staff this side of The Channel, we
hope to offer you Old Speckled Hen, Hobgoblin (English Beer!) Strongbow Cider,
Guinness and Snakebite. Our specially trained staff are versed in the `pulling of a
pint` and will attempt to provide no froth on your beer. They will delight in taking
your money but not be keen to join in with conversation other than to tell you to
`naff off`.
Our normally strict rules will be relaxed for the evening and the smoking of
cigarettes and other substances will be tolerated.
As with any country pub games such as darts, dominoes and cards will be available on
the night and the music will range from the familiar to the downright obscure. So
don that flag of St George attire and storm the ramparts on July 17th! Opening times
(Thankfully not English!): 8pm-very late
